Umesh is well respected across the Auckland construction industry where he has amassed an impressive portfolio of Project Managing projects across several sectors such as Commercial, Retail, Industrial, Healthcare and Residential. Early in his career, Umesh was based on site for 2 years at NZDF Devonport Naval Base as Client Representative Project Manager as well as being based full time on site at CMDHB Middlemore Hospital campus for 3 years Project Managing the delivery of large-scale complex building and infrastructure projects within a fully operational Hospital site. This site-based experience coupled with his Structural Engineering background has well equipped him to understand the technical intricacies of leading the development and delivery of large scale vertical building projects, which has seen him exceed client expectations on major projects up to $150m both here in New Zealand as well as Vancouver, Canada.

 

Umesh is a results-oriented leader with excellent organizational, interpersonal and management skills. He prides himself on building genuine relationships with his clients, consultants and contractors alike. His strategic advice and input into the planning and development phases of a project are invaluable and this is where Umesh can provide real value to clients and their projects to ensure projects are set up correctly and destined for success.

 

Prior to TOBA, Umesh was an Associate at RCP where he was a key member of the management team. He brings a wealth of business knowledge to the TOBA executive team where he heads up the new Building sector of TOBA Projects.
